Baptism record
According to this document, he was belived to be born on January 15, 1887 in St-Hilarion, Charlevoix county, Quebec. The baptism record mentions that is was an Abénakis but he was not. He was from the Malécite First Nations (Wolastoqiyik) from Viger (Cacouna). -
Inscription
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens)
