Son of Eugène Beaudet and Adélia Gendron, of Asbestos, Richmond, Québec.
He arrived in France on 29 July 1916 and was reported missing in action on 4 October 1916 during the Battle of Courcelette, France, then presumed dead on that date on 11 May 1917. His body was never found.

Memorial
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
Sherbrooke Monument
Cover of the original program distributed at the unveiling of the Sherbrooke WWI memorial on November 7th, 1926, and two images of the monument. The monument was designed by Mr. G. W. Hill of Montreal, Quebec with bronze figures cast in Belgium and granite from the Stanstead district. The bronze Memorial tablet lists 249 names.
