Son of Xiste Giguère and Delphine Labonté.

He was adoptive son of Honoré Giguère.

His real name was Honoré Giguère and he served as Honore Giguère Charbonneau.

He enlisted for the first time on 12 November 1914 at Montreal, Quebec, regimental number 417077, and for the second time on 8 October 1915 with the 69th Reserve Battalion, regimental number 121124, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He arrived in Plymouth, England, on 27 April 1916, and was transferred to the 22nd Battalion on 28 June. The next day, he set foot in France. He was killed in action on 18 September 1916 during the Battle of Courcelette.
