This is the house at the address where Stanley Morrison Couch lived with his Uncle in Ottawa. He worked as a public servant before enlisting. <P> Stanley was killed on June 16th, 1915 at the 2nd action at Givenchy when a shell burst over the head of him and some chums including Smith, Macnab, Gunn, Davidson, Couch, Connolly all from the eastern Ontario regiment -
Memorial
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens)
