Burial return
"Concentrations of Graves - Exhumation and Reburial - Burial Return" from the archives of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. This records the exhumation and identification of the remains of Lt. Murray from trench map coordinates 51b.N.4.c.8.8, which is on the Arras-Cambrai road at Feuchy Chapel. Historical documents report the plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire and crashed west of Monchy-le-Preux. The plane was an RE8, serial number C5090. -

CABARET-ROUGE BRITISH CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Souchez is a village in the Department of the Pas-De-Calais, 3.5 kilometres north of Arras on the main road to Bethune. It lies in the valley of the Souchez river, between the Lorette Bridge to the west and Vimy Ridge to the east. The CABARET-ROUGE BRITISH CEMETERY is about 1.5 kilometres south of the village on the west side of the D937 Arras-Bethune Road.
