Telegram
Telegram that was sent to Tom Dunphy's father notifying him of his son's death. It is issued in the name of the Colonial Secretary of Newfoundland. The operator was told not to deliver this telegram until another telegram to the parish priest was received and acted upon. The priest would be the one to break the bad news to the family. -
