Private John Lambert Royal Newfoundland Regiment soldier to be laid to rest CBC News 14 June 2022

St. John's native, Pvte. John Lambert, a WW1 soldier of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment. He died on August 16, 1917 at the age of 17. His remains were discovered in April 2016 near Langemark, Belgium. To honour his memory, I restored and coloured his photo.
NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY Belgium
The NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY is located to the North East of the town of Ieper. From the station turn left and drive along M.Fochlaan to the roundabout, turn right and go to the next roundabout. Here turn left into M.Haiglaan and drive to the traffic lights. Here turn right onto the dual carriageway direction Poelkapelle/A19. Carry on for about 1km over the river and you will see a sign for NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY. Turn left here and the cemetery is approx 50 metres on the left.
