Burial/memorial information

Additional information

Husband of Mrs. John Sutton, of St. John's, Newfoundland.

In November 1918, the schooner Revenue set sail from Bay of Bulls, Newfoundland, bound for La Rochelle, France, and was reported missing in the North Atlantic with all six crew members. No submarine has claimed to have sunk her. The date of death is therefore very approximate.
