Memorial
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
Circumstances of death registers
Source: Library and Archives Canada. CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH REGISTERS, FIRST WORLD WAR. Surnames: Don to Drzewiecki. Microform Sequence 29; Volume Number 31829_B016738. Reference RG150, 1992-93/3 4, 173. Page 789 of 1076. Said to have been buried in the 2nd Canadian Battalion Cemetery. Subsequently, his grave could not be found, hence his sacrifice is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial. -
