Pte. Redgal Ernest Pinkney was born in Yorkshire, England. He enlisted in the 234th "Peel" Battalion C.E. F. in June 1916. His brother, John Pinkney, of Brampton, Ontario, was named as his next-of-kin on his military attestation. In honoured memory. -

His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial (2010). Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
