This New Testament was given to Stanley Augustus Hancock in May 1916, with best wishes from St John's Church, St Thomas, Ontario. Ephesians 6.10-17 is indicated. Stanley died on the 9th April 1917 during the assault on Vimy Ridge. He has no known grave. May he rest in peace. -
Memorial Plaque
This Stanley's memorial bronze bearing his name. It was presented to his widow and is now in my safe-keeping. -
Inscription
Family found Stanley's name on the Canadian National Vimy Memorial, when the family visited Vimy Ridge in October 2001 -
