The Collège Saint François in Bourigny-Boyeffles, France is where William Roy Hawes left his final mark in early April 1917, only days before the final assault at Vimy Ridge. Etchings by Canadian soldiers are carved on the walls outside schools, churches and hospitals throughout the village. -
