His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
Roll of Honour
Canadian National Railways - World War One Roll of Honour. Lance Corporal Pierce Edward Jones enlisted in the C.E.F. in August 1915. He described his occupation on his military attestation form as a Car Repairer. Jones also noted on his attestation that he was born in Merionethshire, N. Wales. He he had prior military experience with the 100th Winnipeg Grenadiers, and the 34th Fort Garry Horse. In honoured memory. -
