Memorial Plaque
This WW1 Memorial Plaque was found at 504 Metcalfe st Ottawa ON in the 1960s when my family bought the house. Harold Travers's family lived in the same house in 1916 when Harold lost his life. More info here http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/1576709/TRAVERS,%20HAROLD%20FERGUS (notice they spelled his parent's last name as Gravers, typing error) -
Memorial
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens)
