Photo of John Vernon “Jack” Love
On the way to the beach Jack told his men, “ Our job is to battle down to Reviere, no matter what is on our flanks, and seize three bridges over the River Seulles and if there is just one man left by the time we get there he will have to go round and sit on each bridge in turn.” The Regina Rifles got all bridges. -
