Cemetery
Air Gunner Sgt. Hayes, age 22, was training on #22 Operational Training Unit. Wellington aircraft was carrying practice bombs and reconnaissance flares when It flew into some low cloud and crashed a few feet from the summit of a Mountain at Cerric, Breconshire. He is buried in the Hereford Cemetery, Herefordshire, England. The other crew members were F.S. E. E. Mittell F.S. J. B. Kemp Sgt. K. Yuill Sgt. H. C. Beatty.
