Location of Smith Cove
The 2004 Remembrance List released by the British Columbia government on November 11 , 2004 included a British Columbia feature named in memory of our uncle Pilot Officer Joseph Harry Smith.<P> Smith Cove is located on the north shoreline of Kamloops Lake at 50*43'50"-120*33'35" in Lac du Bois Provincial Park just west of the Kamloops City western boundary near Tranquille.<P> Also released was a proclamation issued jointly by " The Province of British Columbia and The Geographical Names Board of Canada " signed by the Honourable Gordon Campbell Premier of British Columbia. -

RANCHI WAR CEMETERY India
Ranchi is a town in the State of Bihar some 400 kilometres north-west of Calcutta. It can be reached by air from Delhi, Calcutta and a number of other cities. RANCHI WAR CEMETERY is on Old Hazari Bagh Road about 1.5 kilometres from Ranchi railway station. It is situated next to the Christian cemetery near Kantatoli Chowk. The RANCHI WAR CEMETERY entrance being several metres off the road can easily be missed, and few taxi drivers know the way. Visitors should contact their hotel manager for guidance. There is no residential Caretaker on site and the gate is locked between 5pm and 8am. During working hours the cemetery register can be obtained from one of the gardeners.
