Graves Registration Form
The remains of Stanley Remick were not recovered from his battlefield burial site at Pozieres until March 26th 1937. At that time, a Special Exhumation report noted that soldier of the 7th Field Company, Canadian Engineers had been exhumed from location 57d.X.4.a.50.85. The remains were identified in part by a disc bearing the number 500573 and a name of the format "R. T. ... CKS". -
Burial Return
The Imperial War Graves Commission recorded the exhumation and reburial of Stanley Remick in Plot 9 Row D Grave 13 at the London Cemetery Extension, High Wood, Longueval. This report indicates that Second Corporal Remick shared a grave with and Unknown British Soldier exhumed from the same location. This form is also dated March 26th 1937.
