Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Cst. Pineo was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He attended Scotia Career Academy where he completed a course as a Corrections Officer. Cst. Pineo served in Nipawin, Saskatchewan before transferring to the Wilkie Detachment. He died as a result of a police car accident near Wilkie, Saskatchewan on July 20, 2012.
He was a people person who loved NASCAR, winemaking, movies, camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Cst. Pineo was married to Natasha and they had three children: Novalea, Kayleb, and Ocean. He is buried in Fall River, Nova Scotia.
