Additional information
Son of Louis Boileau and Marie-Louise Bourdon, of Joliette. Married to Delvina Rivest in 1906. He was the father of Georges, Jeanne, henri and Thérèese Boileau. He stated being born on 9 September 1883 when he enlisted.

He had served with the 83rd and 65th Regiments before enlisting with the 69th Reserve Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He was transferred to the 22nd Battalion on 27 August 1916 and joined that unit to take part in the Battle of Courcelette, Pas-de-Calais, France, where he was killed fighting to capture Regina Trench.
