Photo of John Earle Lockerby
Photo was found in an album belonging to Anne I. Fraser of Scotsburn, Nova Scotia. She attended Dalhousie University in 1914, and I believe was a classmate of J. E. Lockerby before his enlistment. In her album, the photo is captioned "Canadian fame will never set on Courcelette, Red Courcelette." Also in the original photo was another soldier from the 42nd Battalion named Salter, who I believe survived the war. -
