Photo of Harry Guest
Undated photograph of Ptes. Harry Guest (left), Cecil Swan (middle) and Earnest Hunter (right). This image was in a photo album largely comprised of images (unfortunately mostly unidentified) of soldiers, girlfriends and other civilians taken while training in New Brunswick. This image was therefore most likely taken sometime during the summer or early fall of 1915 prior to deployment overseas. Harry Guest was killed on 10 June 1916 in defense of the Ypres Salient. He has no known grave. Source: Tim Patterson from collection of Ellis Craig, Ottawa. -
