Born in Montreal, Quebec. Son of Stephen and Christina (née Burke) Walsh of Beaupaire, Quebec. Husband of remarried widow, Clara Mae (née Miles) Amatuzio. Father of Lynne Clara Christina and Bruce Stephen Albert. Brother of George Raymond, Edward William and Emma Mae, Winnifred, Christina, Kathleen May, Meta Pauline and Rita. He enlisted in Montreal, Quebec on 2 April 1940 and was a fireman.
