This young man had emigrated to Canada, and when war broke out he heard in that place the trumpet-call summoning him to the fight, and he enlisted at once with the 83rd Canadian Batt. He lost his life in the great and ever-memorable battle of the Somme, October 8th 1916, when 28 years old."

ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY Somme, France
Miraumont is a village about 14.5 kilometres north-north-east of Albert and the Cemetery is some 3 kilometres south of the village on the east side of the road to Courcelette (D107). The ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY is signposted in the centre of Miraumont.
