Caption (translation from Welsh) reads: "David was the son of Mr John and Mrs Margaret Williams, 489 Carnarvon Road, Bangor. This young man had emigrated to Canada, and when war broke out he heard in that place the trumpet-call summoning him to the fight, and he enlisted at once with the 83rd Canadian Batt. He lost his life in the great and ever-memorable battle of the Somme, October 8th 1916, when 28 years old."

ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY Somme, France
Miraumont is a village about 14.5 kilometres north-north-east of Albert and the Cemetery is some 3 kilometres south of the village on the east side of the road to Courcelette (D107). The ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY is signposted in the centre of Miraumont.
