Son of Thomas John and Nellie Kathleen Trapp, of New Westminster, British Columbia. Brother of Flight Sub Lieutenant George Leonard Trapp, who was killed in action on November 13, 1917, while serving with the Royal Air Naval Service. He is buried at Dozinghem Military Cemetery. Brother of Flight Sub Lieutenant Stanley Valentine Trapp, who was killed in action on December 10, 1916, while serving with the Royal Air Naval Service. He is buried at the Beavual Communal Cemetery.

ANZAC CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France

Sailly-sur-la-Lys is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais on the left bank of the River Lys. The Cemetery is on the north-west side of the road to Estairs opposite the Canadian Cemetery.
