The Star-Phoenix Clock (5th Avenue N. & 24th Street in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) was erected in 1920 in memory of the co-founder of one of Saskatoon’s daily papers who perished in World War I and is a tribute to him and other Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice in the War. It is a protected heritage property established by W. Herman in memory of his partner, Thomas Lawson. The Star-Phoenix Clock is located at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 24th Street. Seth Thomas was the first who succeeded in designing and making tower clocks in different countries.

The REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY (signposted in the centre of Courcelette) is 1.5 kilometres down a single track lane (suitable for cars).
