A RPPC of Frank Ferland, the first fatal casualty of the 15th Battalion during the First World War. This image is significant because it is currently the only known image of Ferland. This postcard was found inside an album of other Highlander images purchased at an estate sale in Nova Scotia back in 2020 by Andrew Webb-Trezzi (it remains in his collection). Note the unidentified medal ribbon on his uniform most likely from his previous service in the U.S. Navy.
