Son of Henry and Katherine Moore (nee Campbell) Becher, of Thornwood, London, Ontario. Brother of Lorne and Major Archibald Valencey Becher, died of pneumonia on 25 December 1915 at The Citadel, Quebec City, Quebec.
Commemorated on the St Paul's Cathedral Becher plaque.
