Grave of 2907 Edward Boot who served with Lord Strathcona's Horse R.C.A.C. C.E.F. Born in Kent England on Oct. 30th 1874. Husband of Sarah Ann Boot of Diamondville Wyoming U.S.A. Edward enlisted into the C.E.F. at Pond Farm (?) on Nov. 26th 1914 listing prior military service of 12 years in the Royal Field Artillery. He listed his occupation as "Groom" Edward died at Vancouver BC on May 6th 1921 at the age of 47. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
