Grave of 77789 Pvt. Sydey Fewtrell who served with the 16th Battn. C.E.F.
Born in the town of Alton in Hampshire England on March 15th 1881. Husband of Edith May Fewtrell of Peace River Alberta. Sydey enlisted into the C.E.F. at Victoria BC on Nov. 14th 1914 he listed prior military service with the 88th Regt. Canadian Militia he listed his occupation as "Rancher" Sydey died at Vancouver BC on June 7th 1920 at the age of 39. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
