Grave of 2638901 Pvt. William Henry Halstead who served with the Canadian Army Medical Corps C.E.F. Born in Huddersfield England on March 30th 1864. Husband of Mary Jane Halsted of East Vancouver. William enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Feb. 1st 1919 he was called up after already serving with the C.A.M.C. He listed prior service with the 18th F.A.U. C.A.M.C. he listed his occupation as "Hospital Orderly" Willim died at Vancouver BC on March 8th 1920 at the age of 62. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
