Born in Northfield Minnesota (Rice Co.) U.S.A. on Jan. 14th 1881.
Carl enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on June 5th 1918 listing his occupation as "Logger" He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Nov. 1st 1918 at the age of 35. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
Born an American he died in defence of Canada. Less We Forget.
