Adopted son of Ludger Boulanger and Catherine Ménard of St. Vallier, Bellechasse, Québec.

According to the inquest report, he was struck by a train near St-Jean station, Iberville, Quebec on the evening of 9 March 1915. He was found in the early hours of the 10th and buried on the 13th at St-Vallier, Bellechasse, Quebec. The inquest concluded that his death was accidental.
