Additional information
Son of Anthime Clément and Exilda Trudel. Husband of Rose Bélair of Mont Rolland, Québec. Father of Églantine Clément.

He previously served with the 85th Régiment de Maisonneuve. Enlisted in the 23rd Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He arrived in Plymouth, England, on 29 May 1915. He left Folkestone on 15 September and landed in Boulogne, France, the same day. He fell ill in the trenches at Kimmel, West Flanders. He was brought back to England, where he was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis. Repatriated to Canada in February 1917, he died of the disease on 17 November 1917.
