Lieut. Colonel Glen Campbell, Officer Commanding the 107th Pioneer Battalion is reported "evacuated to to C.C.S. (Casualty Clearing Station) on Tuesday October 9, 1917.

The arrival of the 107th Pioneer Battalion, under the command of Lieut. Colonel Glen Campbell, is recorded in the April 1917 battalion war diary. The unit left England on Sunday February 25th and was at it's destination in France on Tuesday 27 February 1917.

The death of Lieut. Colonel Glen Campbell, Officer Commanding the 107th Pioneer Battalion is reported as "Died in Hospital" in the the October 1917 Battalion War Diary (Appendix B).

ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Etaples is a town about 27 kilometres south of Boulogne. The Etaples Military Cemetery is to the north of the town, on the west side of the road to Boulogne.
