Ernest Ross Monck, 1884-1918, son of Ernest Augustus Monck (Hill) and Annie Dennis, eldest brother of Violet, Sydney, Albert, Ivy, Stanley and Ed, and predeceased by older half-sister Isa Ada Monck (Ada Hill), and younger sisters Ada and Julia who died in infancy.

Photograph taken in Etaples by Ross's great-nephew. Ross was unmarried when he died and is survived by many children, grandchildren and beyond of his siblings, in Canada and the United States.

ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Etaples is a town about 27 kilometres south of Boulogne. The Etaples Military Cemetery is to the north of the town, on the west side of the road to Boulogne.
