PEAKE WOOD CEMETERY Somme, France
Fricourt is a village and commune in the Department of the Somme, about 5 kilometres east of Albert; Peake Wood was the name given by the Army to a copse on the south-east side of the road to Contalmaison. The PEAKE WOOD CEMETERY is on the north-west side of the road almost opposite the copse, about one kilometre from Contalmaison and 7 kilometres from Albert Railway Station.
