Additional citations

Distinguished Conduct Medal, London Gazette # 31128 dated 14 January 1919. ÈFor conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during the attack north of Parvellers on 13 and 14th August 1918. Whilst the bombing squad was trying to clear an ememy block, he, in face of intense machine-gun fire and bombs, operated his gun with great courage and freely exposing himself. When the objective was reached he advanced alone and bomnbed a German machine-gun post, putting the gun out of action. He did splendidly".
