Son of Charles and Phoebe Knight, of St. John's, Newfoundland.
Private George Samuel KNIGHT left with the first contingent. He was a son of Mr. Charles KNIGHT, of the General Post Office and a member of the Methodist Guards Brigade. A brother Frank is with G Company. Excerpt from St. John's Daily News, 1916.
