Grave Marker
This is the headstone of John William Peddie in Greenock Cemetery, Greenock Scotland. Matthew Erskine Peddie is memorialized on this headstone, along with brother George Watt Peddie and Thomas Adam Peddie. Four of five Peddie brothers served in WWI, each for different branches and countries—all perished in the war. The only surviving Peddie brother was the youngest, Douglas Anderson Peddie. -
