Sladen, C.M.G., C.V.O., and Mrs. K. H. Sladen, of Government House, Ottawa, Ontario. He was the brother of Claude and Joseph. As a former member of The Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Aylmer, Quebec; Lieutenant Sladen is commemorated on a plaque in the entrance to the club. He served with the Canadian Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment). He died 9 Apr 1917 at 19 years of age. He was buried in the Bois-Carre British Cemetery in Pas de Calais, France. -
