Son of Toussaint Deslauriers and Arthémise Lauzon (both deceased in 1912) of Hull, Québec.

Alexandre married Rose-Alma Robillard in 1910 but she died the same year.

He declared being born January 24, 1890 and not being married, but he was widowed when he enlisted.

Enlisted in the 41st Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He arrived in Plymouth, England, on October 28, 1915. On December 7, he was accidentally injured in a traffic accident in London. On April 20, 1916, he was assigned to the 23rd Battalion in West Sandling and on June 6 to the 22nd Battalion. On the 7th, he landed in Boulogne, Pas-de-Calais. On September 30, 1916, he was mortally wounded during the final clashes of the Battle of Courcelette. He died on the same day.

Warloy-Baillon is a village about 21 kilometres north-east of Amiens and 10 kilometres west of Albert. The WARLOY-BAILLON COMMUNAL CEMETERY is on the east side of the village and the EXTENSION is on the eastern side of the cemetery.
