Private Charles Stobie McLean
Charles Stobie McLean grew up on Fair Isle in Shetland, Scotland. Moved to Canada in 1911 and worked as a clerk for the Hudson Bay Company. Joined the 61st Battalion in 1915 and along with his brother Kenneth McLean went to Europe in early 1916 where they were both transferred to the 44th Battalion. Charles was wounded on October 21, 1916 and died the next day. His brother Kenneth was killed three days later on October 25, 1916.

Warloy-Baillon is a village about 21 kilometres north-east of Amiens and 10 kilometres west of Albert. The WARLOY-BAILLON COMMUNAL CEMETERY is on the east side of the village and the EXTENSION is on the eastern side of the cemetery.
