Additional information
Baptized Joseph-Paul-Armand Lescarbeault. Son of Michel Lescarbeault and Georgiana Gratton, of Montréal, Québec. He had declared to be born on February 11th, 1896 when he enlisted. Two weeks later, his brother Albert also lied about his age and joined the 22nd Battalion.

Reported missing on October 4th, 1916 after the assault on the Regina Trench at Courcelette, Armand had in fact been seriously wounded and taken prisoner of war. He died of his wounds at Parchim Hospital in northern Germany.
