In the south west corner of Chinguacousy Park there is a memorial dedicated to the fallen of two world conflicts and numerous United Nations’ missions. Two years after the City of Brampton was incorporated, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 609 Bramalea, erected a memorial dedicated to the fallen from the Township of Chinguacousy, Town of Brampton and Toronto Gore. There was a dedication on the occasion of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion in 1976.

The memorial exists of a four sided column made of flagstone with a wall that connects it to a planting bed. The square in front of the memorial was a large concrete pad. In 2017-2018, it was replaced and new design elements added to make the memorial accessible. The concrete for the plaza was enlarged to accommodate larger Remembrance Day Services and also add some furniture. The concrete pad consists of three colour schemes depicting the different Cadet Corps that exist in Brampton - a sandy colour for the Army Cadets, a blue-grey for the Sea Cadets and a black strip to the front of the column that intersects the square for the Air Cadets. There are four large placards in the back that have the emblems of three types of cadet corps and the Royal Canadian Legion, honouring the relationship between the Legion and the Cadet Corps.

Believed to be the first monument in Carleton County to honour of soldiers killed during WW1.  It was dedicated on 24 May, 1920.

The front and sides have the names of 6 men from the area who were killed. Two were brothers, Clarence and Harry Havens.  The monument was moved from its original site to the present location in the 1960's when the Trans Canada Highway was being built.

The back contains the names of 8 men from the same area who were killed in WW2.

The New Brunswick Naval Memorial was unveiled on 24 June 2022 and commemorates the long and storied history of New Brunswick’s significant role in the naval and maritime heritage of Canada. It provides a constant reminder of all those who lost their lives while serving their country at sea in the cause of peace. The memorial was erected by HMCS Brunswicker and the New Brunswick Royal United Services Institute.

The main monument resting on Plaza Maris recalls the bow of HMCS Saint John adorned with anchors. The imprint of waves in the pavement indicates the “waves over wave” that are their “crosses row upon row.” Embedded in the pavement, port side and aft of the monument, is the shadow of a Canso aircraft, such as those which flew escort over the convoys. At starboard, is a silhouette of a Cyclone helicopter, mindful of the loss of this aircraft o the Saint John-built frigate, HMCS Fredericton.

Stone benches shaped in the format of nautical bollards have been installed around the site. A nautical staff flag pole crowns the site.

On May 14, 1991, sod for the Lewisville Humphrey War Memorial was officially turned by Second World War Veteran Ken Mellish using an army trenching tool rather than an ordinary shovel. The site of the memorial is where many of the Veterans being honoured attended the former Pleasant Street School. It was the chairman of the Lewisville-Humphrey War Memorial Committee, Laurie LeBlanc's idea that the inscription of Veterans names would be on the front of the memorial and information about the Pleasant Street School on the back.

Local businesses and residents donated money for the memorial and flag pole which honours 27 young men from the area that were killed during their service in the First and Second World Wars. The memorial was unveiled on October 20, 1991.
