The First World War cenotaph was unveiled on 5 September 1938 next to the train station on Roseberry Street. It was unveiled by Venerable Archdeacon Scott surrounded by Veterans of the Canadian Expeditionary Force who he had been chaplain with during the war. Erected by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19, it honours those from Campbellton and Restigouche who gave their lives in the Great War. Constructed by Sherrard Granite Works, Moncton, it was made possible through combined efforts of the Women's Auxiliary of the Legion and the Restigouche and Chaleur Chapters of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire.

In the 1980s, the cenotaph was later moved to Riverside Park. The City of Campbellton and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19 erected a matching cenotaph next to it, honouring the dead of the Second World War and Korean War. It is now known as Campbellton Veterans' Memorial.

This memorial was erected by a monument committee and dedicated to local soldiers, among others. The monument, unveiled on November 11, 1995, honours the brave veterans from St-François-de-Madawaska and Connors. It was a project undertaken by a committee of parishioners from St-François and Connors, some of which are seen on the photo: (left to right) Mr. Mario Bossé, Mr. Ernest Sirois (mayor of St-François), Mr. Rénald Landry, Mrs. Jacqueline Émond and Mrs. Alida Émond, chair of the committee.

In honor of the Patron Saint of the Acadians, the French prayed and implored mothers to protect and bring back their sons from the War. Like "The Madonna", this Amphibious Armored Troop Carrier is the first "Modern Battle Wagon" developed to protect and bring back alive the infantry forces from the battlefields. This type of vehicle is also used as an ambulance, to transport civilians during major disasters, and for Canadian peacekeeping missions around the world.

Anderson Siding was named Saint-Quentin in 1919 after a major Canadian victory over the Germans in 1916 at the Battle of the Somme near Saint-Quentin, France.

This transporter, "The Madonna", was built by the United States and acquired by Canada in 1965. It has served on several Peacekeeping missions in the former Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Kosovo, as well as during training in Canada and Germany. Oriented towards the polar star, this "Good Star" which served as a guide and landmark for our French discoverers such as Jacques Cartier, Samuel de Champlain, our soldiers, our fishermen at sea, our pioneers who spotted to show them the north and bring them back to their destination.

"The Madonna" painted on a wall of the Roy Ancestral Home after the Second World War by Mrs. Clair Roy: House where were raised Flight Sergeant Léopold Roy and his brother, soldier L. Valmont Roy, who died as a hero during the Normandy Landings in France, June 6, 1944.

Unveiled by the town of Saint-Quentin on 10 November 1991, this memorial is dedicated to the Veterans of Saint-Quentin, Kedgwick and St-Jean-Baptiste.

Dalhousie Cenotaph

In the summer of 1918, a number of the citizens of Campbellton realized the hospital accommodations were inadequate. Also, a suitable memorial was needed to commemorate the memory of the brave lads of the Restigouche and Bay Chaleur District who had made the supreme sacrifice in the First World War. A meeting was held to discuss the construction of a new hospital to serve the double purpose.

On July 1, 1920, at a ceremony led by Lieutenant-Colonel Alexander McMillan, DSO, the corner stone of the hospital was laid in the presence of over 2,000 people. The Restigouche and Bay Chaleur Soldiers' Memorial Hospital was formally opened on March 16, 1922.

The Campbellton Regional Hospital opened its doors in 1991, following the amalgamation of the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu and Soldiers' Memorial Hospital was converted into the Soldiers Memorial Villa.

The community does not know when this cairn was erected.

This memorial to the local war dead and veterans of the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War was erected in 1977 by the town of Balmoral. In 1977, Mr. Laureat Drapeau, who was Mayor of Balmoral and also a Second World War Veteran, in order to honour the town's veterans, applied for and received a grant from the Federal Government to erect a memorial. Balmoral was founded by Scottish immigrants who arrived in 1820 and named their new colony Balmoral in honour of the Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Due to a harsh winter which they were not used to, around 1845 they decided to move to other parts of the country, and the colony was resettled by Acadians (French) in 1850.

The Atholville Cenotaph was created in memory of fallen soldiers of war.
It was constructed in November of 1964 and remembrance day ceremonies take place at the cenotaph every November 11th.
The cenotaph is looked after by the Municipality of Atholville.

The community does not know when this sailor, previously located at Riverside Park, was carved from a tree stump or who carved it. The carving was removed sometime between 2014 and 2022.
