10th Anniversary of the end of Canada’s mission in Afghanistan
Students from SIR WILFRID LAURIER SCHOOL BOARD, Secondary Student Leadership Certificate Program (QC) will honour our veterans who served in Afghanistan from 2001to 2014.
An evening of stories and songs,
On Saturday, November 9, 2024, Veterans Affairs Canada will host a Veterans' Open Mic at the Royal Canadian Legion Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Branch 024/106 at 5455 Blvd De Maisonneuve Ouest, Montreal from 19:00 until approximately 22:00.
Join us for a guided tour visiting select homes of War Veterans in Montreal West. Tour by Dr Robert Drummond. Starting point: Montreal West Cenotaph (next to Montreal West Town Hall, 50 Westminster avenue south). Tour begins at 1 pm.

The crew of His Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Radisson will hold the ceremony marking the 80th commemoration of the Battle of the Atlantic, which will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 11:00, at the Esplanade de Trois-Rivières on Saint-Laurent.
HMCS Montcalm will hold its annual Battle of the Atlantic commemoration ceremony at the Port of Quebec on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Thanks to our partners, Le Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal and Veterans Affairs Canada, several commemorative events take place each November at the Ste Anne’s Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.
As an integral part of the commemorations program, the Faces of Honor exhibit featuring photographs and quotes of Hospital residents and modern-day veterans who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.
