First World War Honor Roll
An Honor Roll in memory of Walmer Road Baptist Church parishioners who served in the First World War was unveiled on April 11, 1920. It was unveiled by Dr. F. Tracy, Chairman of the Honor Roll Committee. One hundred and seventy-eight members of the congregation enlisted for active service.

A bronze plaque in honour of parishioners who gave their lives in the first World War was unveiled in the sanctuary of Walmer Road Baptist Church on April 11, 1920. It was unveiled by Major J.B. Grinshaw who was the first member of the congregation to enlist and the first Baptist Chaplain to serve with the Canadian Forces. One hundred and seventy-eight members of the congregation enlisted for active service.

The Parkdale Baptist Church First World War Plaque was dedicated to the parishioners who served in the First World War and unveiled on April 20, 1930. The church at Queen Street W and Callander Street was demolished in 1985. There are no records of what happened to the plaque.

WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR, 1914-1918. BY THEIR PARENTS AND LOVED ONES.
The Parkdale Baptist Church First World War Window was erected by parents and loved ones and dedicated to the parishioners who gave their lives in the First World War and unveiled on April 20, 1930. The ceremony was performed by Colonel Hon. W.H. Price, Attorney General of Ontario. The window theme was "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life (Rev. 2-10)".
The church at Queen Street W and Callander Street was demolished in 1985. There are no records of what happened to the window.
