Son of John Joshua James Dopson who was born on Sept 22/1867, and died May 19, 1964. His mother was born Agnes Ellen (Nellie) Stewart. She died Feb 22, 1919. Calvin, as he was known to his family, had 3 sisters: Jean Findlay, Blanche Annie, and Mary Christine; he also had 1 brother, John Joshua.
