Location:

Aix-Noulette is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais, about 13 kilometres south of Bethune on the main road to Arras. From Arras take the D937 towards Bethune. At Aix-Noulette, turn right at the church. The AIX-NOULETTE COMMUNAL CEMETERY and EXTENSION are a few hundred metres on the left side of the road to Bully-Grenay.

"There has been an awful increase in the number of those little wooden crosses since I was here.  Almost the first one I saw was of an old and dear friend, Lt. Fulton of the 106th and late of the 26th Battalion who was mortally wounded during the attack on Hill 70....I can never look on these cemeteries without emotion for beneath them lie the best of manhood of a young nation."
